Law Enforcement/Tactical

At Symbiotic K9 Solutions our instructors have decades of tactical dog handling/training experience.  We don't train theory.  We've been there and done it live.  Based on this experience, success and failure, we are confident the information we provide will improve your performance where it matters the most, on the streets, during live deployments.   In many cases these classes will be instructed through a collaboration with our partners at Paraclete K9. 

A well balanced police dog should not only be driven to find and engage suspects, but also under ultimate control.  With our behavior shaping class we provide the tools and techniques to develop and maintain that control.  We will show how to clearly and fairly communicate with your dog so he/she understands what is expected of them.  Once they understand this, they are happy to comply.  This class includes the proper use of an electric collar, as it is the most consistent training tool available today. 

Is your dog a liability or an asset?  In today's world, you need to know your dog is absolutely going to perform when deployed.  Your dog should not experience new stressors during a live deployement.  This class is all about preparing your dog for that "Once in a career" deployment.  We use techniques to simulate stressors, which commonly cause police dogs to fail during real deployments.  Some of this includes environmental exposure, teaching the dog to overcome stress by fighting harder, and the elimination of equipment.  We guarantee you and your dog will walk away from this class with a new found confidence to do you jobs together.
